Eligibility Criteria
- Only candidates who have passed Class 10 are eligible to enroll in the programme.
Enrollment Process
Certification
- Continuous evaluation and final assessment will be conducted
- Certificates awarded only to participants who successfully complete all requirements
- To appear for the proficiency/certificate exam, it is mandatory that the students have completed all the formal assessments during the course, as applicable in the language/course set by the course instructors.
Refund Policy
- Refund requests must be submitted to ifllp@iitd.ac.in within 10 days of program commencement
- No requests for refunds will be entertained after this period
- Any refund due will be transferred to the bank account of the applicant after deduction of the GST amount.
- The institute will issue a letter/ID to non-IIT Delhi candidates for entering the IIT campus. The candidates must return the issued letter/ID after completion of the programme.
- IIT Delhi reserves the right to modify and amend the refund policy at its sole discretion.
Frequently Asked Questions
1. If I enroll in A1.1 in any language, will I also be taught A1.2 automatically?
No, each level is a separate course. You must enroll separately for A1.2 after completing A1.1.
2. Can I register for more than one language course?
Participants may enroll in only one language course per semester to ensure quality learning.
3. How many batches will be there for one language course?
The number of batches depends on enrollment. Typically we run one batch per level, but may add sections if demand is high.
4. Is there a weekend batch?
There is no dedicated weekend batch.
5. Is there any age criterion to join the course?
The minimum requirement is completion of Class 10. There is no upper age limit.
6. Will accommodation be provided?
As this is a non-residential program, accommodation is not provided.
7. Can non-IIT Delhi candidates join?
Yes, external candidates are welcome under the "Other Candidates" category.
8. Are there exams or assessment?
Yes, the program includes continuous evaluation and a final assessment to ensure learning outcomes are met.
9. Will I get a certificate?
Participants who successfully complete all course requirements will receive an IIT Delhi certificate.
10. Are students who completed A1 under the old curriculum eligible to enroll in A2.1 in the new revised curriculum?
Yes, with proof of A1 completion (certificate required). Our advisors can help determine the appropriate level.
