Eligibility

Foreign candidates who have obtained their Ph.D. degree from a country other than India.
Ph.D. degree with First Class or equivalent grade in the preceding qualification.
Demonstrated research capability with publications in recognized journals.
Age preference: Below 32 years for male candidates and 35 years for female candidates.

Tenure & Benefits

Appointment: 1 year, extendable by an additional year based on performance.
Salary: ₹80,000 per month (₹65,000 per month for candidates awaiting Ph.D. defence), plus House Rent Allowance (HRA) at Government of India rates applicable in New Delhi.
Professional Development Allowance: ₹1,00,000 per year for research and academic activities.
