1. Refund Policy

(a) If a person joins the programme and is not able to continue, they may write to the coordinators with copy to (IFLLP administrative in-charge: ifllp@hss.iitd.ac.in) seeking withdrawal and refund within 15 days of the commencement of the programme. No requests for refund will be granted after this period.
(b) Any refund due will be transferred to the bank account of the applicant after deduction of the GST amount.
(c) Institute will issue a letter/ID to students who are from outside IIT Delhi for entering the IIT campus. If they request for refund of their fees, then the student must return the issued letter/ID.

2. Students are requested to check their calendars and apply for the course only if they can commit to the semester calendar and plan for the delivery of these courses simultaneously.

3. There will be marking scheme for the programme which will be announced by the Language Instructors.

4. The Institute reserves the right to modify and amend the refund policy at their sole discretion.

Certification

(a) There will be exams during each course and the participants who clear these will receive a certificate of proficiency in that language at the chosen level. To appear for the proficiency/certificate exam, students must have 75%+ attendance & should have completed all the formal assessments during the course, as applicable in the language/course as set by the language instructors. If this criterion is not met, certificates of completion of course and competency will not be granted.
